About Teacher Emily (level ii)
Teacher Emily is a dedicated music educator and pianist who holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance. She has had the privilege of studying under esteemed pedagogues and pianists, including Dr. Claire Wachter, Dr. William Wellborn, and Dr. Dale Tsang. Their mentorship has played a vital role in shaping her teaching approach that is both engaging and effective for students of all levels and ages.
Teacher Emily believes that every student’s musical journey is personal and unique. Her teaching philosophy centers on understanding each student’s needs, interests, and goals. She fosters a supportive yet focused environment where students feel empowered to grow, ask questions, and discover their own creative space for artistic expressions and a deeper connection with the music.
In her lessons, Teacher Emily emphasizes on building a strong foundation in technique, musical interpretation, and music theory. By using a structured, step-by-step approach and adapting to various learning styles, she has guided her students to success in performances and syllabus exams such as ABRSM, RCM, and CM.
