Opus 1 Music Studios are open on MLK Day.

It's that magical time of year again! Dust off your most dazzling holiday attire—ugly sweaters, Santa hats, reindeer antlers, you name it—and join us for an unforgettable evening of music, joy, and community cheer!

The Holiday Party will take place at the Mitchell Park Community Center where the hall will be filled with festive performances, holiday tunes, and an abundance of holiday spirit! We encourage everyone to stay until the end to cheer on all our performers, join in our grand holiday sing-along, and witness the exciting prize drawings. Stick around—you won’t want to miss out on any of the holiday cheer! At the end of the night, one lucky performer decked out in their holiday best will win a surprise gift! Plus, we’ll have a raffle with prizes to spread even more holiday spirit! 

An online generator will be used to randomly select 40 performers from the pool of registered students.

This recital features our Opus 1 adult students who continue their music studies with us and would like the opportunity to share their music with others at this performance.

Once a year Opus 1 gives our most distinguished students the opportunity to perform on stage as part of our Honors Recital. Students must be nominated by their teacher as someone who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and ability. You can view the full requirements here. Students are encouraged to wear semi-formal to formal attire. Sessions are one hour and the performances are open to the public - all are welcome!
