PRIVATE GUITAR LESSONS in Palo Alto

One-on-one instruction provides the most attentive learning experience and are tailored to each student’s individual needs and skill level, wether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced guitar or ukulele studentPrivate guitar lessons allow students to progress at their own pace, taking as much or as little time as desired.

Opus 1 offers several professional teachers available in our Palo Alto studio, conveniently located by TeAmo / Subway at 4131 El Camino Real #103, Palo Alto, CA 94306. (Lessons at our Mountain View campuses are also available)

Recommended Lesson Durations:

  • 30 Minutes: $25 (Ages 5-7 ONLY)

  • 45 Minutes: $35 (Ages 8 and up)

  • 60 Minutes: $45 (Ages 12 to Adults)

For toddlers and young children between 0 and 6 years old we also provide beginner group lessons.

Why have a Trial Lesson?

Prior to enrolling in our Membership Program for weekly lessons, you may sign up for a Trial Lesson, meet the teacher and experience a complete lesson. It is a great way to test drive a lesson without the concerns of a long term commitment, and make sure there is a perfect fit between the student and the teacher.

  • Trial Lesson pricing is offered to new customers only or current members exploring additional instruments.

  • Trial Lesson cannot be booked more than two weeks in advance.

  • Trial Lesson is restricted to one lesson per student, per teacher (i.e you can try more than one teacher, but not have several Trial Lessons with the same teacher).

What will I need?

We provide instruments for initial trial lessons. Students taking regular lessons will need to have their own instrument at home to practice on.

Students are required to purchase music books and music accessories for their weekly lessons. If you have your own music books bring them to your Trial lesson.

What if I miss a lesson?

Lessons can be rescheduled easily online with 24h notice. A make up Credit will be issued to your account immediately. You can use the make up Credit to schedule a make up lesson with an available teacher at any time.
