About Teacher sam (level i)
Native to Los Angeles, Teacher Sam has cultivated a deep passion for both performing and teaching since the early stages of his musical journey. He began his professional studies at California State University of Long Beach before transferring to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he pursued his musical career under the guidance of renowned cellist Jennifer Culp. Teacher Sam holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Professional Studies Certificate in Cello Performance from the Conservatory. His development as a musician has also been shaped by the mentorship of distinguished artists such as Cellist Margret Edmonson, Cellist David Garrett, and Violinist Eric Chin.
Teacher Sam has performed with several esteemed local orchestras, including the Golden Gate Symphony, Santa Cruz Symphony, and the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to his performances, Teacher Sam has dedicated his summers to teaching at various music intensives across California, sharing his expertise and passion with aspiring musicians. Beyond classical music, Sam explores and creates projects in diverse genres such as Jazz and Metal, further showcasing his versatility and love for music.
