About Teacher elliot (level iii)
A graduate of the Juilliard School, Teacher Elliot enjoys an active career as a chamber musician, soloist and accomplished Cello teacher. Teacher Elliot’s concert appearances include performances as soloist with the UMBC orchestra, and the National Music Festival orchestra, as well as chamber music appearances at Carnegie Hall, and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
Over the past 10 years, Teacher Elliot has taught at schools in both New York and Philadelphia, and has experience with students of all ages and levels. His teaching approach is built on 3 main axis: building problem solving skills and effective practice routines, developing a strong technical foundation, and fostering expression and musicality.
