What age can my child start music lessons?

Private lessons at Opus 1 Music Studio are available for ages 5 and up. For younger children ages 3-4, we offer Music for Young Children (MYC) group classes to build foundational music skills.

How much do trial lessons cost?

Trial lessons at Opus 1 Music Studio are $25 for 30 minutes (recommended for ages 5-7), $35 for 45 minutes, or $45 for 60 minutes. Trial lessons are available for piano, violin, guitar, cello, and voice. 

What instruments do you teach?

We offer private lessons in piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar (acoustic, electric, and classical), voice/singing, and ukulele. Piano and violin are our most popular instruments.

What if I need to miss a lesson?

We understand that schedules can be busy. Please refer to our studio policy page for our makeup lesson and cancellation policy. We ask for advance notice so we can accommodate schedule changes.

Do you offer group music classes?

Yes! We offer Music for Young Children (MYC) group classes for ages 3-6, as well as ensemble and choir. Group classes are a great way for young children to start their musical journey. View our available group classes here: Group Classes at Opus 1 Music Studio.

How much are private lessons?
