Why Palo Alto / Mountain View families choose us

“I've been a student at Opus 1 for around 12 years and have had the chance to work with Teacher Chloe for 4 of those years. I am super grateful for her genuine passion and attention to detail when it comes to teaching music. She's super nice and has helped me with other things like preparing for the US Open Music Competition and my college essay which I wrote about my experience playing piano.”

“My son has been studying with Teacher Yuri for more than four years, and we are very grateful for her guidance. Teacher Yuri has been incredibly supportive, not only in helping my son build strong piano technique and musical knowledge, but also in encouraging him emotionally. Thanks to his patience and care, my son has continued to grow his long-term interest and love for music.”

Lu Y.

“My daughter has been taking piano private lessons with Opus 1 since kindergarten, and she is 13 now and we are still very happy with Opus 1. She’s been working with Ms Giselle for las one and half years. She worked diligently to help my daughter prepare for ABRSM grade 5, and my daughter passed with distinction. Ms Giselle is very sweet, skillful and knows well how to work with a teenager!”
