GUITAR LESSONS in Palo Alto
Learn guitar at Opus 1 Music Studio's Palo Alto Studio. We offer private guitar lessons for ages 5 to adult, covering acoustic, electric, classical, and fingerstyle guitar.
About the Guitar Program:
Private one-on-one lessons (30, 45, or 60 minutes) provide the most attentive learning experience and is tailored to each student’s individual needs and skill level, whether they are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced guitar student.
Our teachers will teach you how to read music, tabs, and chord charts on your choice of guitar (acoustic, electrical, or classical).
Styles taught include rock, pop, blues, classical, fingerstyle, and jazz.

Chords, strumming patterns, and fingerpicking
Music reading and guitar tablature
Scales and music theory for guitarists

Performance skills for recitals and beyond

30 min trial: $25 (Children ages 5-7 ONLY)

What will I need?
We provide instruments for initial trial lessons. Students taking regular lessons will need to have their own instrument at home to practice on.
Students are required to purchase music books and music accessories for their weekly lessons. If you have your own music books, please bring them to your trial lesson.
