About Teacher Giselle (level ii)

Teacher Giselle is a pianist and dedicated educator with over 8 years of teaching experience. She holds an M.M. in Piano Performance from Longy School of Music of Bard College and a B.M. in Piano Performance from Cornell College, graduating Cum Laude with Distinction in Music.

Teacher Giselle fosters a fun and supportive learning environment, using games, duets, and engaging activities to develop sight reading, ear training, theory, and rhythm. Her nurturing approach has helped students gain confidence early, with some performing in talent shows at just six years old. Many have achieved Merit and Distinction in ABRSM exams.

As a performer, she has been a finalist in major piano competitions, including Chopin and New York International, and has played at Columbia University, NYU’s Summer Piano Intensive, and the British Isles Music Festival. She has also performed as a soloist with the Cornell Symphony Orchestra and worked as an accompanist for chamber ensembles, choirs, and theater productions.

Teacher Giselle is passionate about helping students build confidence and a love for music, creating an environment where they feel inspired to reach their full potential.
