About Teacher effie (level ii)

Teacher Effie is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music where she earned her Master’s degree in Music Composition with a concentration in Music-in-Education. Classically trained as a pianist and a composer with over 20 years of musical experience, she has been teaching piano and music theory to both children and adults at all levels since 2015, and she frequently collaborates with musicians and performing artists. 

Teacher Effie is especially skilled at incorporating diverse approaches into every lesson - music theory, ear training, and music history. She works with students on improvisation and song arrangements in order to find joy in learning music. She values diversity and has a warm and creative teaching style.
