About Teacher Emily (level Ii)

Teacher Emily began her musical journey at the young age of four, quickly gaining recognition as part of a Suzuki outreach program. By the time she was fifteen, she made her orchestral debut at the prestigious Troy Music Hall. Teacher Emily has since performed at esteemed festivals such as the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival and the North Carolina School of the Arts Festival, and she participated in the New York String Seminar at Carnegie Hall.

During her two years as a resident of Austria, Teacher Emily had the honor of performing for the Diplomatic Council of Vienna alongside pianist Albert Frantz. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied under Charles Castleman, and a Master’s degree in Chamber Music Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, under Camilla Wicks.

Teacher Emily's extensive experience includes being a fellow at the New World Symphony and performing with the San Francisco Ballet and Opera orchestras. Currently based in the Bay Area, she is a dedicated teacher, inspiring the next generation of musicians.
